Terms of service
The rules we work under. Last updated August 2026.
Who these apply to
These terms cover work carried out by Dad's Mobile Tire Services LLC. Booking a job, by this website or over the phone, means you accept them.
Booking is a request until we confirm it
Submitting the form on this site asks for a date and an arrival window. It is not a confirmed appointment until we come back to you and say so. We aim to confirm within the hour during business hours.
Arrival windows
We give a two hour arrival window rather than an exact time, because travel across Southeast Michigan cannot be predicted to the minute. We will do everything reasonable to arrive inside it and we will call you if we are running late. A missed window is not grounds for a charge against us, though if we let you down badly, tell us and we will put it right.
Hours
We work Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. We are not a twenty four hour service and we do not work weekends.
Space and access
For scheduled work you must provide roughly five feet of clear, level space on all four sides of the vehicle, on ground firm enough to take a jack. If we arrive and the vehicle cannot be worked on safely, we will explain why and the service call fee of $75 remains payable, because the drive has already been made.
You are responsible for making sure we can lawfully access the location. If the work is on property you do not own or control, get permission first.
Pricing
Every job is a service call fee, plus labour, plus parts. The total shown before you confirm a booking is our best estimate from what you told us. If the vehicle or the work turns out to be different from the description, we will stop, explain the difference and get your agreement before continuing.
Hourly work is charged at $75 per hour with a minimum of one hour, billed from arrival. Parts are charged at our price and are subject to Michigan sales tax at 6%. Labour and the service call fee are not taxed.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished, unless you have paid in advance or hold an account with agreed terms. We accept card online, card on our reader, and cash. Account customers are invoiced monthly and payment is due within the agreed period.
Cancelling and rescheduling
Let us know as early as you can and there is no charge. If we have already travelled to you, the service call fee is payable. If tires were specially ordered for your vehicle and cannot be returned, we may charge for them.
Tires and parts
Tires are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not ours. We will help you make a claim. Tires you supply yourself are fitted at your risk: we will point out anything we think is unsafe, and we reserve the right to refuse to fit a tire we believe is dangerous or the wrong specification for the vehicle.
Our work
We fit tires to the manufacturer's specification and torque every wheel to spec before leaving. We recommend you have the torque re-checked after about fifty miles, and we will do that for you at no charge if you are inside our service area.
If our workmanship is at fault, tell us within a reasonable time and we will come back and fix it. Our liability is limited to putting right the work we did.
Existing condition
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage: seized or rounded lug nuts, corroded wheels, damaged studs, aftermarket locking nuts without a key, or rust that fails when disturbed. We will tell you if we find any of it and agree what to do before going further.
Reviews and photographs
We may photograph completed work for our own website and social media. Tell us if you would rather we did not and we will not. We do not publish addresses or number plates.
Getting in touch
Questions about any of this, or something that has gone wrong: call (248) 767-9808 or email [email protected]. We would much rather hear about a problem than read about it.
